Amherst Village Library
Amherst Library is conveniently located with ample parking, disability parking, easy access, publich conveniences with friendly, helpful staff and a great selection of books, magazines, cds/dcds, to borrow plus two special carousel stands devoted to excess stock that can be purchased for as little as $1.Whilst COVID locked down Perth last year, the staff proactively made borrowing available with ingenuity and safety. Bravo Amherst Library!

Nice Library, Good Staff when it comes to finding books but Patrons do not care about noise level affecting other library users & also library staff is not bothered about them.

Im very disappointed by the fact that it most of the time gets very noisy.. with lots of ppl chatting in the library. If coming for studying and you need a little bit quiet space, then not a good idea.

A very pleasant experience. One librarian in particular stood out for her service. She greeted us and took my 8 yr girl to the book shelves and helped her to find the books she liked. She knew the authors well and could also recommend other books as well. I was impressed how child friendly they are. We are lucky to have this library within walking distance to our home.

Great space. Generally chill and quiet. Internet about average. But the staff are helpful and the range of books fantastic. The air con is a dream. I'm not a fan of the echo as you first walk in, but that's no big deal.

The best Rhyme Time in the area!! The ladies running the sessions here provide one of the most bubbly and entertaining time for both the bubs and adults alike. When I first went along with my 3mth old, I didn't know a single rhyme but by the time my bub turned one and graduated" rhyme time

Good selection of books, helpful staff & easy to use borrowing machines. Lots of great places to sit and read, and the front looks way nicer now that works have finished.
