A good selection of books, friendly staff. It's also in a good location close to shops etc. Fun activity sessions for kids too.

Capel Iluka Public Library
I am support worker for a lady who loves Capel library and their lovely staff.A beautiful quiet space with staff who are so supportive of my client and her needs. Georgie is particularly loved but all staff are so giving of themselves.Thank you for all you do so well.

The Grove Library
The staff are unhelpful unless you happen to be of the female gender something that many of our local libraries suffer from. Or possibly a thug, because over the years of resorting to this library to basically pound out 4 books I have witnessed amazing bogan thuggery and similar get away with murder, yet I have seen others lose their library membership or get fined over the most minor of matters.I myself have been targeted off and on by various of its library staff which included being asked to pay them $90 for an old dvd case [it had a few drops of citronella oil on its cover, nevertheless one prissy littIe male member of the librarian staff was absolutely determined to have me reimburse the library in full even if the dvd package itself was well over ten years old and well past its use by date for it was by no means in perfect condition on borrowing it].Every time I hop onto a computer of late my sites get blocked next time I use it so have to find another computer and this goes on no doubt by some disgruntled staff member--more nastiness? They will fine you even if I happen to be one minute late with a book or something, while others can punch their fists into the computer screens in full view of these library staff who will usually just smile and console how these ignorant bogan thugs are just letting off a bit of steam.Ive been threatened and provoked while writing my books and having to fend these louts of in the same process, while the librarian staff will threaten and harrass one if you have so much as a bikini clad young woman on your computer screen [although maybe thats the problem, maybe they prefer bikini clad young males?].Defending a young woman who was being seriously abused by some fairly ugly natured bogans only to be told when intervening by a library staffer that it was not the abusers fault but probably this young womans fault who by the looks of her was deathly ill I'd have to say probably bulimia, while her really nasty abusers were entirely forgiven, never seen her again, such things could be said for a lot of people over the years who hate this library & its certain staffers mania for social engineering. The computers are relatively fast speed for australia. Although even with their computers it took them years to admit that maybe a better layout was necessary.Basically i think it has always been mismanaged by those with an agenda against 'the establishment' whatever that means. Meaning its basically run along quite absurd social engineering pseudo liberalist conceits that are quite speculative at best like so much of this silly PC rubbish actually. Meaning upper-mid class fems of a feminist kind -IF one is straight and low-income & not of the thuggish class YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IN THIS LIBRARY.It can also be a very noisy library which can be good if its nice little children running around having a giggle. Not however when such childlike behaviour is excessive or accompanied by equally arrogant obnoxious helicopter parenting. And Mossie library has these in good supply to be honest.Could be so much better this place if it was run proper. I think it is well funded and has great supply of books and dvds, magazines and computers and lots 'public funding'.Although sadly I don't think its lady manager really gives a damn. She usually just hides herself away while awaiting for payday to come along? No enthusiasm on part of staff basically. Lots complacency- lots jobs for life in our public libraries this ones no exception for all its NEW idealism.Wish I could say better things but just cannot. Have seen way too many put-off people over the years who refuse to come back to the place.#what do you know its been a few months since I have been here and of late the staffers actually seem a little more conciliatory and less arrogant, even though the old 'gang' still have the tendency to gather and giggle to themselves hysterically at the coming and going of various individuals...of course I'm still not welcome and whenever they see me their knives come out.

South Perth Library
Nice library with big windows giving you natural light. The staff are friendly and helpful. No quiet study rooms, unfortunately, and on some days the children groups that come in can become awfully loud. Good range of self help books and graphic novels.

Cannington Leisureplex
I have been a member of Leisureplex for over three years . My daily routine after the gym is to visit Epica Cafe for my coffee . It is very clean , coffee is excellent . Special mention to the cafe manager Raymae , always has a smile , always knows your name and always knows what you have without asking .I can well recommend.

Thornlie Library
This library has been my second home. Love the environment and staff is very helpful and friendly. I have been studying here for over two years now. Also the storytime for kids is great and the teachers arranging the program are friendly, I am talking about 2 yrs ago. I have brought my kids to there LETS program and that’s also a great way for kids to learn English language who are from non English speaking families. All thumbs up for Thornlie library staff who are part of this team for over two years.A lot of staff has now changed but sometime I still see the old familiar faces.
